Installation and Repair Policy

Answer I.T., LLC focuses on End-User and Network Technical Support, Network Management, Remote Diagnosis / Troubleshooting, Network Engineering and Network Project Management. In order to provide the best possible service to our customers at the best price we find it more convenient and economical to work with installers / repair technicians which reside in your locale. As such, we are probably not your installation company but may have coordinated these services on your behalf as your Project Manager.  Answer I.T. can provide professional installation services upon request.  If we have provided this service to you all installation and repair policies / warranties will be included in your installation contract.

As your Project Manager we can either work with a local installer / repair technician of your choice, locate one for you in your area or provide the service ourselves.  If you have selected a local installer, we can preconfigure equipment for deployment or provide remote technical support to your installer during the installation / repair process.  Your installer is responsible directly to you for any warranty work, defective workmanship claims and related repairs or additional work. Answer I.T., LLC does not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES warranty the work of your installation provider / repair technician and is not responsible for repairing any defects, replacing or repairing any equipment, or for any outages or services interruptions you may experience related to equipment, equipment installation or repair work.  If Answer I.T. has provided your installation services per your installation contract we offer a 120 day warranty on all workmanship related items such as cable pulls, terminations, punch downs, equipment mounting, etc.  All equipment is warrantied by the manufacturer not by Answer I.T.  In the event of a hardware failure during the manufacturers warranty period we will work with the equipment manufacturer on your behalf to have the equipment repaired or replaced.  Any onsite work performed by Answer I.T. for hardware malfunctions will be billed at normal rates.  (Please refer to our Return Policy for additional information.)

In the event you have an installation / repair issue we will work with your installer / repair technician on your behalf to resolve the issue. You are responsible for any fees which may charged by your installer / repair technician. This service is typically included in your Technical Support Contract unless extensive project management is required to rectify an issue at which time Answer I.T., LLC at its option may charge you an additional project management fee. You will be notified in advance if this charge will apply.

Answer I.T., LLC expressly does not warranty any equipment and is not responsible for any equipment malfunctions / failures / service outages, installation issues, equipment maintenance / repair / replacement / onsite troubleshooting or any other network issues / problems which may prevent the Customer or Customer’s End-Users from accessing the Internet or any specific Internet / network functions.

Answer I.T. now accepts secure online payments.  Customers can now submit secure online payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card or Check. When making online payments please have your invoices handy as you will need to input the invoice number(s) you are paying.

Remote Assistance

Answer I.T. can provide remote assistance to help identify and correct issues on your computer or network.  You must have a connection to the Internet to use this service.  This is a premium service and is billable at $45.00 per half hour.  When directed by an Answer I.T. support technician click the link below:
