Please review our Return and RMA policy before returning any items. All returns and exchanges must first be issued a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) from Answer I.T., LLC prior to returning any items. After an RMA number has been issued you must return the product in accordance with the instructions provided in conjunction with the RMA number. The RMA number MUST be clearly written on the outside of the box or risk being refused. Items accepted without an RMA number may be assessed a $50 RMA research/liability fee.
All products being returned for credit or exchange must be returned in their original packaging with all software, power units, cabling, manuals (if provided) and other items intact, or else will we will not be able to work on your behalf with the manufacturer / orginating vendor. All items are subject to the return, exchange, replacement, RMA and warranty policies of the vendor from which Answer I.T., LLC purchased the product on your behalf. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES does Answer I.T., LLC warranty any equipment or merchandise it ordered on your behalf nor will we exchange, return, replace or refund any equipment or merchandise at our expense.
Once we have received your RMA shipment we will promptly contact the vendor / manufacturer on your behalf to process any applicable replacements, exchanges, repairs or other services covered by their warranty. In the event the vendor / manufacturer refuses to replace, exchange, repair or provide other services allegedly covered under the warranty Answer I.T., LLC will promptly notify you and return the item(s) to you. You are responsible for the costs of all shipping, restocking fees, repair fees or other charges / fees the vendor requires for the applicable transaction. Answer I.T., LLC is not responsible for the cost of these charges, as we are simply passing along the charge from the actual vendor / manufacturer.
Please package your return item in a shipping box with appropriate packaging. If you are not sure how to package an item for safe shipping, please consult a local shipping company or an Answer I.T., LLC representative. Product being returned in an envelope or with insufficient packaging will be refused and your warranty WILL be voided. Please write the RMA number clearly visiable on the outside of the shipping box before returning it to Answer I.T., LLC. Items inadvertantly accepted with insufficient packaging will be inspected and if found to not meet packing specifications, warranty will be VOIDED and item returned to you at your request.
All electronic components that are not installed and secured in a metal or plastic indoor or outdoor enclosure MUST be returned in anti-static bags. If item is failed to be returned in proper antistatic packaging all warranties WILL be VOID with NO exceptions.
Vendor / manufacturer warranties do NOT cover direct or indirect lightning damages such as common surge damages or other force majuere events or improperly maintained equipment. In some cases we can offer repair services on these items either directly or extended from the manufacturer. Answer I.T., LLC will be more than happy to provide suggestions and recommendations on how to protect your equipment from damage please consult a sales representative if you have any questions on what you should use for your application for best the possible protection. Advance Replacement RMA's may be used in some situations to assist you in limiting downtime of your network. Answer I.T., LLC may at certain times have new or used equipment which can be loaned to you while your equipment is being returned or repaired. We can not guarantee the availability of any specific piece of equipment or item but will advise you if it is available at the time you make your RMA request. In the event it is benefecial to you, we will preconfigure and ship the temporary replacement item before you return the defective item. We require a deposit on all Advance Replacement items prior to shipping. All Advance Replacement items sent to you must be returned in the same condition in which they were sent to you or you will be charged for the item an amount equal to your deposit and your deposit will be used as payment. All Advance Replacement item(s) must be returned within 30 days (unless otherwise noted in writing) of its shipment date or you will be charged for the item an amount equal to your deposit and your deposit will be used as payment. If you return the Advance Replacement item(s) per the terms outlined above your deposit will be promptly refunded. You are responsible for all shipping charges involved with Advance Replacements. By requesting an RMA, I/we agree to all of the above terms and conditions of the return. We further agree to hold Answer I.T., LLC harmless for any omissions or errors on this or any other page on this website. By submitting your item(s) for return, this signifies your agreement to the above. |
